When my son was bored, I made this sensory box with lentils. It instantly picked up my son's interest. He would put the lentils into the plastic egg and even tried to put the lentils into the dump truck. He then tried to place the animals straight and pretend the lentils to be sand. J is 2-year old, and so his attention span is about 10-15 minutes, but this lasted more than 20-30 minutes. This is a great for fine motor skills and help the child to be more creative. This is a great toy box for any toddlers!
